The Southeast Missouri State soccer team suffered its first loss of the season Sunday as South Florida romped 4-0 at the Racer Classic in Murray, Ky.
Southeast, which routed Alabama A&M 9-1 in Friday's Racer Classic opener, fell to 2-1.
USF (3-0) controlled play throughout, holding a 26-7 advantage in shots and a 9-1 edge in shots on goal.
Chelsea Klotz scored both of USF's first-half goals as the Bulls led 2-0 at the break. They added their last two goals in the final 19 minutes.
Southeast returns to action Wednesday when perennial Division III power Washington University from St. Louis visits Houck Stadium for a 7:30 p.m. start.
Washington University, last year's Division III national runner-up, will be playing its season opener Wednesday. The Bears, currently ranked No. 2, beat Southeast 4-1 last year in St. Louis.
