The Southeast Missouri State gymnastics team posted its best score of the season Saturday, but it wasn't enough to knock off its host.

The University of Missouri topped the visiting Redhawks 194.925-192.825.

Senior Christina Sundgren led Southeast with a title on the balance beam. She scored a 9.800 for her first career win in the event.

Brianna Gaddie took second in the event with a 9.775.

Gaddie shared the vault title by scoring a 9.800. It was her 11th career title in the event. She also took third on the floor with a 9.800.

Taylor Westrick finished third in the all-around with a 38.450. It was the first time in her college career that she's competed in all four events.

Margaret O'Neal led the Redhawks on the bars by tying for fourth with a 9.750.

The Redhawks return to action Friday when they host Western Michigan.
