DECATUR, Ala. -- Southeast Missouri State's final golf tournament of the program's final season ended with the Redhawks finishing near the bottom at the Ohio Valley Conference Championship.
The three-day tournament concluded Wednesday at Burning Tree Golf Course.
The Redhawks finished ninth of 11 teams. Southeast shot a final-day 304 for a total of 900.
Samford won the event with a team total of 873.
Mark Schmitz and Brandon Couch tied for 28th with a 225 to lead Southeast. Brian Sheehan finished 31st with a 226, Zach Decker was 38th with a 230, and Matt Hillis finsihed 41st with a 232.
Bradley Palmer of Samford was the top individual with a 213.
Hillis was named to all-OVC first team.
