The Southeast Missouri State volleyball team ended the regular season Saturday with a win at Tennessee State.

Game scores were 19-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-22 as the Redhawks improved to 13-13 overall and 11-7 in the Ohio Valley Conference.

Claire Keaton led Southeast in kills with 13 and added 14 digs for a double-double.

Sarah Barth also had a double-double with 47 assists and 14 digs.

Karleigh DeLong and Emily Hughes both had 12 kills, while Molly Davis recorded 21 digs.

Southeast finished fifth in the 10-team OVC. The Redhawks begin play in the six-team conference tournament Thursday against Austin Peay in Cookeville, Tenn. Tennessee Tech is the host.

Austin Peay, which tied for third in the OVC and is the No. 4 seed in the tournament, swept Southeast in both regular-season meetings, including Friday in Clarksville, Tenn.

The Southeast cross country teams ended their seasons Saturday at the NCAA Midwest Regional in Stillwater, Okla.

Southeast's men finished 12th, while the women placed 24th.

Brandon Karcher led the men in the 8K race by finishing 46th out of 165 runners, finishing in 32 minutes, 27.10 seconds.

Also for the Redhawks, Nate Shipley was 70th (33:01.40), Dustin Davis 72nd (33:04.25), Jason Lumpkin 87th (33:25.55), Chris Loseman 89th (33:25.95), Cody Martin 126th (34:53.05) and T.J. Matthews 128th (34:53.45).

Juli Koenegstein led Southeast in the 5K women's race, placing 78th out of 187 runners in a time of 22:49.85.

Also for Southeast, Monica Noble was 128th (23:31.85), Liz Speicher 146th (23:52.80), Kasey Owens 153rd (24:15.55), Linnea Woldtvedt 155th (24:20.80) and Lauren Heidbrink 173rd (25:46.45).

The top two squads from the regional qualify for the NCAA Championships, along with the top four individuals not on an advancing team.
