The Southeast Missouri State softball team surrendered 10 runs in the first two innings Sunday and lost 10-2 to Centenary College in its final game of the Mardi Gras Classic.
Centenary (6-2) avenged an eight-inning, 5-4 loss to the Redhawks on Saturday.
Losing pitcher Whitney Dupuis allowed six hits and two walks in 2 1/3 innings.
Renee Kertz had two of Southeast's six hits in the game. Kertz, Ashlee Hebel and Carmen Fowler had doubles for the Redhawks (4-2), who went 3-2 in the tournament.
