The Southeast Missouri State women's soccer team dodged two shots off the crossbar and battled host Tennessee-Martin to a double-overtime scoreless draw in an Ohio Valley Conference game Sunday.
Southeast emerged with a 6-0-1 OVC mark and a 9-2-2 record overall, while UTM moved to 4-1-3 in the conference and 9-4-3 overall.
The Skyhawks outshot the Redhawks 15 to 11 in regulation. UTM goalkeeper Ashley Angerer made just two saves, while Southeast goalkeeper Lindsey Pickering was forced to make seven saves.
The Skyhawks' Jody Kiers fired a shot off the crossbar in the 51st minute of regulation, while teammate Jamie Price caromed a shot off crossbar in the first overtime.
Southeast returns to action Friday night when Jacksonville State visits Houck Stadium for a 7 p.m. game.
