Rain wipes out baseball district tournament openers

Heavy rain Sunday night and Monday morning made area baseball fields too wet to play Monday's first-round games in local district tournaments. Games are scheduled to resume Tuesday, with semifinals rescheduled for Wednesday and championships Thursday.
