The Three Rivers Raiders grabbed a win before the holiday break on Saturday as the Lady Raiders continued to wreck opponents as they’re now 11-2 on the year and No. 10 in the country.
The Raiders took down Link Year Prep 84-57 behind 21 points from Anthony Sellars. Meechie White added 16 points and nine rebounds while Bryce Wallace scored 12 points off of the bench.
The Three Rivers men will have nearly a month off as they take on Motlow State Community College on Jan. 6 on the road.
The Lady Raiders overcame a slow start to their stan-dards and turned it into a dominant second half as they rolled Dyersburg State 77-32.
Da’Kariya Jackson had 15 points and 11 rebound to lead the Lady Raiders as the standout also dished six as-sists in the victory. Mya Davidson added 13 points while Samari Taylor had 10 points.
The dominant defense of the Raiders kept Dyersburg State from scoring a field goal for the final 17:22 of the game.
TRC hosts Rend Lake on Saturday at 2 p.m. for its 2023 finale. The Lady Raiders head to Wabash Valley, one of the Raiders’ two losses, on Jan. 6.
