Proceeds from Jackson High Indians football calender/schedules being sold in the Jackson area are lining someone's own pockets and are not going to the team, the school's head football coach warns.
"I do not know anything about it and we're not getting anything from it," Jackson coach Carl Gross said.
Gross said several Jackson area businesses have been asked to buy the calenders. He is not aware who is selling them but emphasized that the sales are not in any way sanctioned by the team or school and dubbed them "a scam."
Businesses can make donations to the Jackson football team and booster club by buying advertisements for the programs sold at games.
