The fourth-seeded Perryville Pirates saw their season come to a close Monday night with a 55-51 loss to fifth-seeded Fredericktown in the first round of the Class 4 District 1 tournament in Sikeston, Mo.

Fredericktown advances to play first -seeded Dexter on Wednesday night in the semifinal round.
