Perryville falls to South Iron

The Perryville boys basketball team couldn't overcome a 20-point halftime deficit and lost to South Iron 74-58 in the first round of the Park Hills Christmas Tournament on Monday.

The Pirates (0-6) will continue bracket play at 1 p.m. today.

Tyler Bauwens led Perryville with 17 points. Michael Fritsche had 15 and Rick Dunn added 10.
