The season did not go quite like Perryville wanted, but the Pirates at least ended on a positive note.
Perryville, which started out 3-0 before losing six straight, beat visiting Kennett 31-20 on Friday night to finish 4-6.
Kris Cottner rushed for 185 yards on 38 carries, including touchdown runs of 31 and 24 yards. He finished the season above 1,000 yards for the second year in a row.
Ryan Lorenz added 70 yards on eight carries and a touchdown for the Pirates.
"It's a good way to end the season for our seniors," Perryville coach Rick Chastain said.
