Carr Vernon delivered his second top-10 in a row on Sunday when he finished fourth at the Quebec Open on PGA Tour Canada.

Vernon shot a 7-under 63 in his final round to put him in the top five and at 17-under for the tournament.

Davis Lamb won the event with a -22 to edge David Kim’s -21.

The win propels Vernon to 13th in the Fortinet Cup, up from No. 31 a couple of weeks ago when he finished tied for ninth at the ATB Classic.

Since earning his card for the third time on PGA Tour Canada on June 9, Vernon has delivered nine rounds in the 60s in his four tournaments, which includes him missing a cut at the Elk Ridge Saskatchewan Open.

With the win for Lamb, he know has back-to-back victories on PGA Tour Canada with his third potential victory earning him an automatic promotion to the Korn Ferry Tour.

The last golfer to achieve this feat was Tyler McCumber in 2018.

Action nows shifts to the Commissioners Ottawa Open at Eagle Creek in Dunrobin, Ottawa, Canada.
