Panthers advance to tourney semis

Derrick Wilfong dropped 19 points and Dustin Hubler netted 17 as Meadow Heights earned a 65-55 victory in the Mississippi Valley boys basketball tournament Wednesday.

The Panthers trailed 17-10 after the first quarter and 28-26 at halftime before outscoring Greenville 39-27 in the second half.

The second-seeded Panthers will square off against third-seeded Zalma in the semifinals tonight.
