In the first game, Southeast had 15 hits as Michelle Frank hit a grand slam and Ricki DeArmon went 4-for-4 with two RBIs. Pitcher Debbie Schmelz walked none in seven innings.

Southeast led 6-1 entering the sixth inning in the second game before Austin Peay's comeback try fell short. Chris Shetley had two hits, including a home run, and DeArmon went 2-for-4 as Southeast totaled nine hits. Christine Engelhardt picked up the win.
