LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Kris Woolf won the women's 10,000 in 39:08.67 to highlight Southeast Missouri State University's performances during the first two days of the Kansas Relays.
Kim Krieger was second in the 10,000 (39:54.15) while Heather Jenkins was sixth in the shot put (45-11 1/2).
On the men's side, Jay Heddell was third in the shot put (56-11 1/2); Andrew Lambert was sixth in the long jump (23-10 1/4); and Brian Whitehead placed eighth in the 10,000 (33:08.62).
The meet concludes today and several more Southeast athletes will shoot for place-winning performances.
Following the Kansas Relays, Southeast returns to action next week in the Drake Relays.
