Southeast Missouri State University's gymnastics team sent its seniors out in style Friday night.
Competing in their final home meet of the year, the Otahkians posted a season-high score to defeat Western Michigan 193.400-191.000 at Houck Field House.
It was the last home meet for five Southeast seniors: Jessica Bagwill, Stephanie Furman, Karen Hamilton, Michelle Walker and Elenor Wilson.
"I'm very proud of the seniors tonight. They each are very unique individuals and each brings something different to the team," Southeast coach Patty Stotzheim said. "The season's highest score was just an added bonus for them."
Southeast junior Amy Cole and sophomore teammate Ashley Godwin tied for first in the all-around (38.525).
Godwin was first on vault (9.800) and Katie Bloom was second (9.775).
Cole and Godwin tied for first on bars (9.800).
The Otahkians swept the top three floor spots, with Walker first (9.850) and Cole and Godwin tying for second (9.775).
The only event the Otahkians did not win was the beam. Walker placed second (9.750).
"I was happy with my performance and would really call it the best of the year," Walker said. "I definitely ended the year on a happy note."
Southeast will end the regular season next Saturday at the Midwest Independent Championships in Chicago.
"I think that we might have a good opportunity to win," said Stotzheim of the Midwest Independent Championships.
