Southeast Missouri State's volleyball team remained undefeated in the Ohio Valley Conference at 6-0 with a straight set win over Morehead State at Houck Field House on Friday.

Led by the dynamic duo of Krista Haukap and Lea Beckemeyer, the Otahkians defeated the Eagles 15-8, 15-7 and 15-12. The victory upped the Houck win streak to 25 straight and the OVC streak of 27 in a row alive.

Game one and two saw the Eagles jump to early leads in each before Southeast evened the score and pulled away.

The third game, with Morehead facing elimination, was more competitive as the visitors led 12-9 before the Otahks reeled off three straight points to tie and eventually sealed the deal with the final three points of the match.

Haukap hammered home 17 kills and recorded her tenth double-double of the season with 11 digs. She had a near-flawless hitting game with only two errors all night on a .441 hitting percentage.

Beckemeyer also got her tenth double-double as she had 10 kills and a team-high 16 digs.

Freshmen outside hitter Sarah Frost had a career high seven digs to go with four kills, while freshman setter Emily Scannell assisted 26 times.
