ST. LOUIS -- The Southeast Missouri women's volleyball team tuned up for Thursday's OVC opener by capturing the Billiken Invitational Saturday.

After winning its two opening matches Friday, Southeast finished as the tournament's lone undefeated team with three-set victories over Eastern Tennessee State University and St. Louis University on Saturday.

Southeast, 8-4 on the season, knocked off Eastern Tennessee 15-4, 15-10, 15-9. The Otahks then won the title with a 15-9, 15-10, 16-14 win over St. Louis University.

Tuba Meto and Mandy Edgington both collected nine kills against Eastern Tennessee. Meto added 31 assists and a team-high 18 digs.

Jackie Derwort recorded 22 kills against St. Louis as Edgington and Krista Haukap both added 10 kills. Meto finished the match with 46 assists and Angie Aschoff turned in 14 digs.

Southeast will make its home debut on Thursday when Middle Tennessee visits Houck Field House.
