Oran's bats dominated the day at the Oran Softball Tournament championship Saturday, scoring 15 runs on 15 hits in a 15-5 rout of Scott City.
Cassie Graviett led the assault with three hits. Callie Kielhofner picked up the win for the Eagles (9-1).
"I didn't know what to expect, we didn't score until the sixth inning in the Saxony Lutheran game," Oran coach Wade Sanders said. "We started scoring right from the beginning of the Scott City game."
Scott City (11-2) was plagued by seven errors. Chelsi Bradley and Kim Klipfel had two hits apiece for the Rams.
Delta (9-2) got past Saxony Lutheran in the third-place game 7-5 in nine innings. Kaci Menz had three hits, a home run and two RBIs for the Bobcats.
In pool play earlier Saturday, Scott City edged Delta 6-5 and Oran beat Saxony Lutheran 7-1.

The Indians allowed a goal in the first half and never could get the equalizer.
"We outplayed them in the second half," Jackson coach Zack Walton said. "Things didn't go our way."
Jackson (7-1) outshot Belleville West 13-5.
Lindsay Poole was in goal for the Indians.
West Plains Tournament
Central scored for the first time in six games in a 2-0 win over Parkview at the West Plains Tournament.
Danielle Markhart and Kacie Broemmelsick scored second-half goals for the Tigers. Sarah Uptmor and Markhart had assists. Haley Pilsner was in goal for the shutout.
The Tigers (6-10) finished fifth in the tournament after falling on penalty kicks to Valleyview (Ark.). The score was 0-0 after regulation and overtime, and Valleyview won 3-2 in the shootout.
BASEBALLColumbia Rockbridge 3, Central 2
Central stranded the tying run on second base in the bottom of the seventh in a loss to state-ranked Rockbridge in the Gateway Festival of Baseball in Eureka.
Brad LaBruyere took the loss. LaBruyere allowed eight hits, struck out five and walked three in seven innings.
Blake Slattery and Eric Ennis had two hits apiece for the Tigers (9-6).

The Eagles (11-4) dropped a 10-0, five-inning game to Dexter and fell 9-3 to Senath-Hornersville.
Chase Seyer, Alex Chasteen and Tyler Beardslee had two hits apiece in the loss to Senath.

Red Devils Classic
Scott City starter Ryan Modglin struck out the side in the final four innings in a 5-1 win over Shawnee in the semifinals of the Red Devils Classic.
The Rams (7-5) were declared champions when Egyptian decided not to play the championship game due to a conflict with prom. Egyptian beat Malden 9-3 in the other semifinal.
Modglin struck out 17 in a complete-game two-hitter. Rynn Eskew and Modglin also homered for the Rams.
"He was mowing them down," Scott City coach Lance Amick said.
Chaffee beat Perryville in a slugfest 13-12 in 10 innings in one consolation semifinal. Saxony won 11-10 over Bell City in the other consolation semifinal.
Saxony Lutheran won the consolation bracket with a 4-2 win over Chaffee. Peter Winningham struck out six and held Chaffee to three hits in the win.
Chris Hanback had four hits on the day for Chaffee.
In the consolation semifinals, Garrett Fritsche had a two-run single in the bottom of the seventh to score two runs to complete Saxony Lutheran's comeback against Bell City. Saxony trailed 9-1 heading into the bottom of the fourth.

Woodland Optimist Tournament
Leopold scored four runs in the seventh and four in the eighth to knock off Bloomfield 13-9 in the Woodland Optimist Tournament.
Darren VanGennip threw the final two innings for the win. Leopold had 10 hits and eight errors in the game.
The Wildcats earlier beat South Iron 5-4. Leopold answered South Iron's three-run top of the seventh with a run in the bottom of the seventh for the win. Cody Van De Ven pitched an inning for the win.
Woodland won the third-place game 18-3 over South Iron. The Cardinals (4-8) had 13 hits and took advantage of 17 walks.
Jacob Gillis, Andrew Wagoner, Willie Piatt, C.J. Kernan and Dale Long had two hits apiece for Woodland. Long had four RBIs, Wagoner had three RBIs, and Piatt and Kernan drove in two apiece.
Kyle Reynolds picked up his first varsity win on the mound in 4 2/3 innings. Reynolds struck out five, walked two and allowed two hits.
TRACK AND FIELDChaffee Relays
Chaffee won the shot put relay, high jump relay and discus relay en route to a win in the boys division.
Alex Jauch won the 300 hurdles for Saxony Lutherean, which finished second. The Crusaders also won the 3,200 relay, 800 relay, distance medley relay and 1,600 relay.
Chaffee's girls were second. Chaffee won the shot put relay.
