Max Priggel scored a game-high 18 points, leading the fourth-seeded Oran boys basketball team to a 57-33 win over fifth-seeded Chaffee in the opening round of the Scott-Mississippi Conference Tournament on Wednesday at Scott City High School.

Jacob Shoemaker added 17 points for the Eagles, who secured the victory by outscoring Chaffee 27-4 in the second and third quarters combined. Layne Johnson contributed 10 points for Oran (10-7), which will face top-seeded Scott County Central in a semifinal at 6:30 p.m. today.

Landon Tenkhoff finished with 13 points to lead Chaffee (3-13).
