ORAN, Mo. -- Oran pushed its season-opening win streak to seven Wednesday afternoon behind a shutout by Zac Chasteen.

Chasteen only needed 58 pitches to lead the Eagles past Scott County Central 10-0 in five innings.

Chasteen allowed two hits and walk while striking out five. He retired the side in order in three of the five innings.

The Oran bats came alive against the Braves after only scoring one run in its last outing, a 1-0 win over Oak Ridge. The Eagles' first four batters reached before coming around to score to take a 4-0 lead.

Oran got a big boost in the third inning when Kody Moore hit a three-run home run to left-center to push the Eagles ahead 7-0.

The Eagles put the game to rest when Chasteen came in to score to enact the 10-run mercy rule after reaching base when he got hit by a pitch.

Chasteen scored when a potential double-play ball was misplayed at second.

Moore, Chasteen and Dalton Elfrink all had two hits apiece to lead Oran. All three contributed a double to Oran's cause.

Ben Freed and Dustin Johnson collected the lone hits for the Braves (4-3).
