Officers elected for Women's Golf Association

The Women's Golf Association of Cape Girardeau elected officers during its spring banquet recently in preparation for the season that will begin with an event today.

Officers for the year are Judi Brey, president; Mary Jane Eftink, vice president; Dana Underwood, treasurer; and Robyn Young, secretary. Marion Miles-Edwards and Dorris Young were presented honorary life membership in the association.

Dillard records hole in one at country club

Howard Dillard of Cape Girardeau shot a hole in one Sunday at the Cape Girardeau Country Club.

Dillard used a 7-wood for the 150-yard shot on the fourth hole. Witnesses were Wally Lage, Joe Lage and Mark Kneer.
