Austin Hahs pitched a no-hitter, and Oak Ridge picked up its first victory with a 7-0 home triumph Tuesday against Zalma.

Hahs allowed just two walks and struck out 14 batters over seven innings.

Oak Ridge (1-3) had just four singles and took advantage of four Zalma errors. The Blue Jays scored two runs in the first, three in the second and two in the fourth. In a game without many offensive highlights, Kaz Lange drove in a run for the Blue Jays on a bases-loaded hit-by-pitch.

Nick Smith took the loss for Zalma.

Notre Dame struck for three first-inning runs on four hits and cruised to a home victory against Perryville.

That was all the runs needed for Anthony Wulfers (1-1), who limited Perryville to five hits in going the distance. He walked one and struck out nine.

Shane Menz led an 11-hit attack for Notre Dame (3-1), going 3-for-4. Jordan Buchheit and Luke Moll each went 2-for-3.

St. Vincent opened its season with a loss against Valle.

"It was just good to play," said Indians coach Craig Hayden, whose team has had three games postponed by the weather. "It was a good first game. We had six hits and probably at least as many line-drive outs."

Greg Finger had three hits and losing pitcher Eric Clements had two for the Indians.

The Eagles scored in each of the first four innings and overcame six errors in a home victory.

Starter Alex Chasteen notched the win for Oran (2-0), allowing four hits and one run in 4 2/3 innings. He struck out four and walked two. Austin Dumey followed with 2 1/3 innings of one-hit relief.

Caleb Seyer went 3-for-3 for Oran, including a double.

Valerie Richardet, Jess Welker, Kelly Mancha, Sarah Moll and Lacey Siegmund tallied for St. Vincent (2-2). Welker, Hannah Schremp, Moll and Richardet each had an assist.

Megan Wengert and Mancha shared the shutout, facing a total of four shots.

Perryville 2, Sikeston 0

Amber Hacker scored one goal and assisted on another in a road victory.

Hacker scored with an assist from Alyssa Bauwens in the first half and assisted on Kendra Schilli's goal in the second half. Chastity Marr recorded her first shutout for the Pirates (3-1).

BOYS GOLF Central 161, Jackson 161, Notre Dame 174

Central senior Blake Driskell earned medalist honors to lead the Tigers to victory in a three-team meet at Kimbeland Country Club.

Driskell fired an even-par 34 to take top honors by four strokes. Zach Kluesner added a 38 for Central, while Kirk Lohmann shot a 38 and Brock Seabaugh carded a 40.

Tyler McDowell led Jackson with a 38. Nic Robinson added a 40, Gabe Sauer had a 41 and Josh Wheeler a 42.

For Notre Dame, Brett Slaten scored a 31, Austin Hunter had a 43, and Brandon Holzum, Austin Gelscheimer and Andrew Bertrand each finished at 45.

TRACK AND FIELD Chaffee Open

Brandon Etzold won two events and was part of two winning relay teams as the Saxony Lutheran boys edged Chaffee in the three-team meet.

The Chaffee girls dominated their division, winning three relay races and sweeping the top places in the shot put and discus events.

Etzold won the 1,600- and 800-meter runs for Saxony and was on the winning 1,600 and 3,200 relay teams. His younger brother, Andrew, won the 3,200.

Saxony scored 74 points in the boys meet to Chaffee's 73.

Walker Rice led Chaffee's boys by sweeping the shot put and discus.

Chaffee's girls had the top four finishers in the shot put -- Whitney Schlosser, Amber Kirk, Sarah Dooley and Nikki Cummins -- and the top three in the discus -- Dooley, Kirk and Schlosser.

The Red Devils tallied 120 points to Bell City's 60.

Nikole Johnson won the 100 and was on the winning 800 and 1,600 relays, while Christian Murakami won the 200, was second in the long jump and was on the winning 400 and 1,600 relays.

Amanda Braun won the two hurdles events for Scott City.
