Notre Dame golfer Morgan Schumer finished tied for 24th at the Class 1 state golf meet.

Morgan Schumer cut two strokes off her Day 1 total to tie for 24th place at the Class 1 state golf meet Tuesday in Bolivar, Mo.

Schumer finished at 97-95--192 to finish in a three-way tie for 24th at Silo Ridge Golf Course.

Teammate Keira Soutar was two shots back with a 96-98--194, good enough to tie for 28th place.

Camille Brewer rounded out the Bulldogs' contingent with a 98-104--202, which placed her tied for 50th.

This was the first year for the Notre Dame girls golf program.
