The first-year Notre Dame wrestling team collected its first dual victory Monday night in a three-team meet at New Madrid, Mo.
The Bulldogs defeated New Madrid 54-30, but also suffered a 54-27 loss to Dexter.
"We wrestled pretty good and finally won," said Notre Dame coach Marc Stevener.
The Bulldogs (1-3) combined five pins with four forfeits for the victory.

Scott City routed the host Red Devils 62-23 in the first round of the Chaffee tournament, building an 18-point lead by the end of the first quarter.
Katie Hogan led the Rams (2-1) with 12 points, Holli Shemonia followed with 11 points.
Taylor Kirchdoerfer scored seven points to lead Chaffee.
In the other first-round games, Oran defeated East Prairie 53-41, while Delta topped Sikeston 57-39.
