The Notre Dame girls basketball team pounded St. Vincent 63-20 on the road Wednesday en route to its ninth win in 11 games.
The Bulldogs (13-10) pounced on the Squaws (8-12) early, opening a 42-12 halftime lead before shutting out St. Vincent in the fourth quarter.
"They're just coming together," Notre Dame coach Jerry Grim said of his squad. "Everybody's contributing, and we're starting to play better defense."
Meridith Medlin led Notre Dame with 19 points, and Kristain Burger added 15.
St. Vincent, which managed only seven field goals, had no scorers with more than four points.
The Bulldogs will play Monday at Nerinx Hall in St. Louis.
"It's a good challenge for us," Grim said. "Playing those teams makes you better."
