Notre Dame shuts out Perryville

Mindy Siebert found the back of the net about 15 minutes into the game, and the Notre Dame soccer team made it stand up Wednesday.

The Bulldogs shut out Perryville 1-0.

Shelley Frank had six saves for the Bulldogs, who improved to 9-0 this season.

St. Vincent 1, Central 0

Courtney Besand netted a goal 18 minutes into play as the Indians blanked the Tigers.

Liz Rozier tallied the assist, and Anne Steele recorded the shutout for the Indians (8-1).

Jackson 3, Seckman 2

Jenni Tenholder netted a goal and dealt an assist as the Indians earned the win.

Lauren Drewett and Kasey Crowden also scored for Jackson (9-1).

BASEBALL Central 13, Kelly 6

The Tigers pounded out 17 hits as they cruised to the conference win.

Garrett Stevens went 2-for-4 with a home run for Central (6-9, 4-3).

Brooks Osburn and Joe Uhls each added three hits in the win.

Zach Wilson earned the victory in four innings of relief.

Levi Felter, Bryce Faulkner and Chase Smith all had multiple hits for Kelly.

Justin L'Hote beat out an infield single to drive home the winning run as the Indians capped a furious comeback.

Drew Armbruster hit a sacrifice fly to center field to score the tying run before L'Hote's game-winner.

Corey Sauer earned the win for the Indians (4-5), and scored the winning run.

Kyle Rollet went 2-for-4 with a triple for St. Vincent.

Jack Connell Jr. fired a 38 to capture medalist honors and lead the Tigers to victory at the Cape Country Club.

TRACK Chaffee Invitational

Chaffee took home second place at its own invitational to lead all local teams.

Gage Harrell paced the Red Devils with first-place finishes in the 110 hurdles and the 300 hurdles, as well as helping the 800 relay to a second-place finish.

Ross Gage led Saxony Lutheran with a first-place finish in the 800 and a second-place finish in the 1,600.
