COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Rachel Seymour scored 21 points and Alicia Herald added 19 as Notre Dame de Sion defeated Doniphan 70-40 in the Class 3A girls state final Saturday.

The Storm (26-5) outscored Doniphan 25-4 in the third quarter to put away the Donettes after leading 30-24 at halftime.

Bethany Orendorff paced Doniphan (27-3) with 11 points and Amy Shepherd had eight rebounds.

In the consolation game, Brittany Mannings scored 31 points on 12-of-15 shooting and grabbed 18 rebounds to lead Duchesne (25-7) to a 69-61 win over Marshfield (27-5).

Jimmy McKinney scored 25 points to lead defending champion St. Louis Vashon to a 63-52 win over Liberty in Friday's Class 4A boys state final.

The Blue Jays (23-8) tied the game at 46 midway through the fourth quarter with three straight three-pointers, but the Wolverines then went on a 6-0 run to pull away for good.

Vashon (28-1) hit 12-of-14 free throws down the stretch.

Chad Fleming led Liberty with 14 points.

In the consolation game, Matt Foster sank two free throws with one second left to seal Eureka's 52-46 win over Hannibal.
