BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- No. 1 seed Notre Dame cruised to an opening round 76-29 victory over ninth-seed Bloomfield in the boys' Class 2A, District 2 basketball tournament.
Travis Siebert led Notre Dame (19-7) with 16 points and Scott Wittenborn scored 14. Nathan LeGrand added 11 for the Bulldogs.
Bloomfield completed its season at 4-19.
Bell City 85, Risco 28
DELTA, Mo. -- The top-seeded Cubs won easily in their Class 1A, District 2 tournament first-round game against No. 8 Risco.
Eric Henry's 23 points led Bell City, 22-5 and No. 7 in the state. Kenyon Wright had 12, C.J. Hadley 11 and Zak McIntyre 10.
The Cubs were up 42-8 by halftime.
Oran 84, Delta 64
DELTA, Mo.-- Oran had three players in double figures as the Eagles won by 20 over the host. Ryne Wood led the Eagles with 26. Tyler Cookson had 21 and Nathan Seyer 20.
Delta's Lance Kinder led the Bobcats with 25. Joey Keys scored 19 and Craig Bock 10.
Advance 91, Scott County Central 76
DELTA, Mo.-- The fourth-seeded Hornets advanced to today's semifinal round with a 15-point win over No. 5 Scott County Central.
Andrew Jenkins led Advance with 28 points. Jared Ritter added 20, Jason Bahr 15 and Cain Kelley 13.
Chris Johnson scored 25 to lead the Braves. Chris Pullen had 24 and Terrance Williams 19.
Meadow Heights 60, Valle 53, OT
FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. -- Meadow Heights (15-10), the fifth seed in the Class 1A, District 3 tournament, pulled off a mild upset of No. 4 Valle in overtime.
Meadow Heights, led by Joey Bell with 19 points, outscored Valle 10-3 in the overtime period.
Cody Thompson and Josh Fulton added 11 and 10 points, respectively, for the Panthers.
St. Vincent 76, Marquand 58
FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. -- St. Vincent (14-10) advanced to the semifinal round of the Class 1A, District 3 tournament with its win over Marquand.
Tyler (24) and Matt Wengert (20) combined for 44 points to lead St. Vincent. Adam Prost scored 11.
Heath Stephens scored 29 for Marquand (12-12) and Jason Thomas had 10.
Viburnum 80, Oak Ridge 43
FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. -- Oak Ridge (8-17), the No. 8 seed, saw its season end at the hands of top seed Virburnum in the opening round of the Class 1A, District 3 tournament.
Alex Fadler led Oak Ridge with 10 points, while Kyle Turnbough and Derek Sumpter paced Viburnum (21-5) with 20 points apiece.
Girls' basketball
Notre Dame 64, Woodland 14
BLOOMFIELD, Mo.-- Notre Dame won handily in a matchup gainst the Cardinals in the Class 2A, District 2 quarterfinal game.
The Bulldogs (23-2) hit seven 3-pointers with Lisa and Ashley Millham in double figures: Lisa had 13 and Ashley 12.
