Notre Dame clung to a one-point lead in the waning seconds of the fourth quarter at New Madrid County Central on Tuesday night.
But the Bulldogs were called for a foul with 1.3 seconds left.
New Madrid hit 1 of 2 to tie the game and force overtime.
The Eagles responded to their new life, knocking off Notre Dame 60-59 in boys basketball action Tuesday.
Austin Greer led the Bulldogs with 23 points, while John Unterreiner added 12.
The loss dropped Notre Dame to 13-8.
