New Salem girls defeat Edgemont Christian

New Salem Baptist's girls basketball team improved to 3-0 with a 38-16 win over Edgemont Christian in Fairview Heights, Ill., on Saturday.

Sarah Green scored 15 for New Salem and Holly Jordan added 11 points and 17 rebounds. Edgemont was held to three first-half points.
