The Bulldogs posted an 8-0 softball victory over Poplar Bluff to improve to 8-0.
Miranda Schlosser threw a no-hitter as the Notre Dame softball team continued to dominate the opposition with an 8-0 victory over visiting Poplar Bluff Tuesday.
The Bulldogs improved their record to 8-0. Their closest victory was Saturday's 7-4 triumph over their junior varsity squad in the finals of the Notre Dame Softballfest.
"We're rolling pretty good," Notre Dame coach Jeff Graviett said.
Schlosser, now 4-0, struck out four and walked two over seven innings.
"She's thrown well for us all year so far," Graviett said. "The only run she's given up is to our JV team."
Kristain Burger accounted for three of the Bulldogs' 13 hits, including a home run and a double.
Schlosser, Paris Burger, Cortney Ostendorf and Lauren Bond all added two hits.

Kelsy Holloway tossed a five-inning no-hitter as Central run-ruled host Sikeston.
Holloway struck out seven and walked none, although she hit one batter.
"She threw a very good game," Central coach Amy Blattel said. "She was right around the strike zone, which is what we want."
The Tigers (6-6) had nine hits, led by Lindsay Greene with two.

Delta evened its record with a five-inning road win.
The Bobcats (3-3) received two hits apiece from Courtney Burton, Shea Smith, Jodi Menz and Kayla Seabaugh. Burton and Smith each stole three bases, Seabaugh had three RBIs, and Menz and Kendra Burnett both added two RBIs.
Burnett and Seabaugh combined on a one-hitter. Burnett, the winner, allowed the hit over the first three innings. Seabaugh worked two hitless frames. Each struck out three.

Courtney Walter pitched a four-hitter and also drove in two runs while scoring twice as Chaffee won at home.
The Red Devils (4-9) had three of their six hits during a three-run third inning, when they broke a 1-1 tie.

Ben Patrick scored Central's lone goal, with Garrett Duncan assisting, but the Tigers (1-3) suffered a road loss.

Taylor Kirn had eight kills and 10 digs as Central eased past host Oran.
Kyla Valleroy added eight assists for the Tigers (4-3-1).
Oran (1-4) received 12 digs from Kayla Graviett. Cassie Graviett had 11 digs and three aces.

Notre Dame evened its record with a narrow home victory.
The Bulldogs (4-4) were led in kills by Ashley Nenninger with eight and Hailey Bohnert with seven. Meridith Medlin had 13 assists and Destiny Dirnberger added 10 digs. Taylor Sanders served nine straight points during the decisive third game.
JV -- Bernie won 25-17, 25-23, 26-24
Scott City remained undefeated with an easy road victory.
Heather Huckstep and Whitney Tapley both had four kills for the Rams (2-0). Kristin Yetman led in assists with 7, while Kacie Ritter had five. Brooke Simpson added four blocks.
JV -- Scott City won 25-14, 25-9
St. Vincent improved to 7-0 by rolling past visiting Oak Ridge.
Brooke Brown led the way with six kills, eight digs, seven service points and three aces.
Lacey Siegmund had five kills and seven assists; Kelsey Cissell had 10 assists and seven digs; and Sara Moll served eight points.
JV -- St. Vincent won 25-4, 25-17
Chelsie Morris had eight aces and six kills, while Lauren Johnson added six kills, as Woodland (4-1) won at home.
JV -- Puxico won 25-22, 25-14
Saxony Lutheran rallied for a home win.
Tiffany Haerting served 15 points, including two aces, and had eight assists for the Crusaders. Brooke Kasten had 11 points, four aces and six digs, while Kara Versemann added 14 digs and five kills.
Leopold handily defeated host Meadow Heights.
Meadow Heights (3-2) received four kills from Brandy Mayberry and three blocks from Jenna Hahs.
JV -- Leopold won 25-19, 25-19
Central improved to 6-0 in dual matches by rolling past Charleston. The Tigers' lone loss came at No. 2 doubles.
