ND pounds NMCC in five innings

Mark Himmelberg did a little of everything for the Notre Dame baseball team Monday.

He struck out nine and ripped a home run to lead the Bulldogs to a 12-2 victory over New Madrid County Central.

Blake Gaddis also homered in the win.

The Rams continued to steamroll opponents as they swept a doubleheader with the Cardinals.

Jaris Hye doubled three times in the first game and finished 4-for-4. He added another double in the second game.

Josh Henson picked up the win in the first game, while Jacob Campbell won the second contest. The Rams moved to 10-1 with the wins.
