Cape Central (4-1) won all matches between the singles and doubles courts en route to a 9-0 win at North County (3-3) on Tuesday afternoon.
Jacob Ford, Elijah Peters, Eann Ray Gardner, Zachary Borowiak, Gabriel Shelton and Mohamad Roumany all took singles matches for the Tigers, while the pairings of Ford/Peters, Gardner/Borowiak and Shelton/Roumany won on the doubles court to secure the sweep.
The Tigers next host Jackson (3-4) at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
Dexter 7, Jackson 2
Jackson tennis (3-4) took a tough 7-2 loss at Dexter (3-3) on Tuesday, taking two matches on the singles court but dropping all three doubles matches.
Tyson Ford and Conner Strickland took singles wins for the Indians, while Dexter’s Peyton Boles, Lawson Blocker, Drew Chamberlain and Rhyder Williams took singles wins.
The pairings of Boles/Blocker, Cooper Worley/Chamberlain and Logan Jones/Williams secured three doubles wins for the Bearcats en route to a dominant win.
Jackson next plays at 4 p.m. on Thursday at Cape Central.
