Missourian prep hoops roundup, Feb. 16: Delta closes the regular season with a win

Delta defeated Advance 99-39 on Wednesday at Advance High School.

The Bobcats were led on offense by sophomore Jade Berry who finished with 34 points, followed by junior Addison Nichols with 18 and sophomore Olivia Wagoner with 13. Also in the scoring column for Delta with 12 points was senior Sierra Berry.

The offense of Advance was led by Kaylee Cline who finished with 13 points.

Delta will play in the Class 1 District 1 Tournament on Thursday at 6 p.m. against Oak Ridge or Couch. Advance will travel to Puxico at 6 p.m. on Friday.

__GBB: Woodland 55, Oak Ridge 41__

Woodland defeated Oak Ridge 55-41 on Wednesday at Oak Ridge High School.

The offense of the Blue Jays was led by senior Abby Morrison who scored 13 points and sophomore Reagan Howe helped Oak Ridge defensively by grabbing 11 rebounds.

Woodland will play in the Class 3 District 2 Tournament against Charleston at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Ridge will play in the Class 1 District 1 Tournament against Couch at 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

__BBB: St. Vincent 84, Meadow Heights 58__

The St. Vincent boys basketball defeated Meadow Heights 84-58 to finish the season with a 14-11 record.

The Indians have won four of their last five games.

The Indians enter the Class 2 District 4 Tournament at Crystal City with a bye week. They will await the winner between Crystal City and New Haven.
