Cape Central (14-9) got a whopping 39 points from Rakiara Bogan en route to a narrow 64-54 win against New Madrid County Central (2-18) on Monday night.

Bogan’s 39 led all Tigers, while Celeste Gutierrez (8), Nalaiya Furlow (6), Abigail Davenport (5), Polly Gonzalez (2), Gracyn Morris (2) and Brianna Fornkohl (2) followed in the Tiger scoring effort.

Cape Central next plays at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Sikeston (5-16).

__GBB: Woodland 47, Chaffee 44__

Woodland (8-15) held Chaffee (15-9) to just nine points in the fourth quarter to carry the Cardinals to a 47-44 victory on Monday night at home.

Mallary Barks led the Cardinals with 22 points in the win, while Sarah Wilkinson (11), Caroline Rhodes (4), Tallie Johnson (4), Maci McIntyre (2), London Cureton (2) and Rhodie Long (2) all scored in the Woodland win.

Ayne’ Held led the Red Devils with 19 points in the loss, while Rayney Held (12), Zoe Bently (8), Malinah Robertson (3) and Hailey Rains (2) all scored for Chaffee.

Woodland next hosts Meadow Heights (16-6) at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, while Chaffee next hosts Puxico (6-16) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

__BBB: Leopold 75, North Pemiscot 22__

Leopold (8-15) increased its win streak to two with a 75-22 win at North Pemiscot (1-23) on Monday night.

Brady Halter led Leopold with a game-high 19 points in the win, followed by Keegan Deck (17), Austin Broshuis (10), Mike Wolfe (6), Noland Beussink (6), Jay Engelen (5), Will Retz (4), Josh Horrell (2), Ambrose Seiler (2), Preston Campbell (2) and Landon Wells (2).

Leopold next plays in the Class 1 District 2 Tournament beginning on Monday against Marquand (5-14).

__GBB: Jackson 40, Saxony Lutheran 29__

Jackson (14-6) won a low-scoring affair against Saxony Lutheran (11-10) on Monday night, winning 40-29 on the road.

Katie Waller led the Indians with 22 points, while Camryn Alsdorf (15) and Aubrey Brothers (3) both added depth scoring.

Evie Caruso led the Crusaders with 10 points in the post, while Maci Hollis (6), Emma Dunning (4), Kennedy Biri (3), Maddie Preusser (3), Becca Johnson (2) and Abby Haley (1) all scored in the loss for Saxony Lutheran.

Jackson next plays at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at New Madrid County Central (2-18), while Saxony Lutheran next plays at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at North County (11-11).

__GBB: Oak Ridge 57, East Prairie 26__

Oak Ridge (8-13) bounced back on Monday night with a lopsided 57-26 win at East Prairie (5-16).

Sophomore Reagan Howe scored 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the win for Oak Ridge, while Madyson Ruehling (12), MaKayla Rangel (11) and Abby Morrison (7) all chipped in for a big Oak Ridge win.

The Bluejays next play at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran (10-12).

__GBB: Scott City 34, Puxico 19__

Scott City (15-8) pulled out a low-scoring win at Puxico (6-16) on Monday night, winning 34-19.

Ramsey Spinks led the Rams in points with 10, while Liza Dannenmueller (8), Mackenzie Lawless (7), Gracie Karrenbrock (4), Graycie Conklin (4) and Makenna Gentry (1) all added further scoring to the Scott City offense.

The Rams next play at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday at Oran (14-8).

__BBB: St. Vincent 61, Fredericktown 52__

St. Vincent (14-10) took care of business on the road on Monday night, taking down Fredericktown (8-12) by a final score of 61-52.

St. Vincent next hosts Saxony Lutheran (15-8) on Wednesday night.
