"We are super young, and we showed it today in a big spot," said Advance coach James Hamlin. "We had every opportunity in the world, but you need to do the little things to beat a team like Leopold, and we didn't do the little things."

Hillsboro Invitational Tournament
Perryville 2, Hillsboro 0
Alexis Sutterer and Allison Moldenhauer scored a goal apiece to lead the Pirates to first place in the Hillsboro Invitational Tournament.
Moldenhauer had the assist on Sutterer's goal, which was assisted by Brooke Hogard.
Goalkeeper Miranda Stortz snagged five saves for Perryville (8-3).
Coach Jerry Fulton was proud of his team's performance.
"I thought we played pretty well," he said. "Our defense has really picked up here latey and we are finally figuring some things out."
The Pirates shut out every team in pool play in addition to the championship win over the host Hawks. Perryville defeated St. Clair 5-0 in the opening day followed by a 1-0 victory over Central on Thursday and a 3-0 win over Maplewood-Richmond Heights on Friday.
"I think it's the first time we've ever done that with any team, boys or girls," Fulton said.
Four Pirates players were named to the all-tournament team: Natalie Gremaud, Allison Moldenhauer, Brooke Moll and Kaitlyn Ellsworth.
Lauren Hecht, Brianna Mueller and Maci Daniel scored the three goals that allowed the Crusaders to remain undefeated in the Spartan Invitational Tournament in Moberly, Mo.
Grace Mirly, Ashlynn Collier and Kristy Winter provided the assists for Saxony Lutheran (12-0).
Goalkeeper Abby Goeckeler had the shutout.
It was the second win for the Crusaders in the tournament. Saxony Lutheran triumped over Hannibal 2-1 on Friday. Maddie Brune and Kristy Winters scored the goals while Brune had an assist.
Coach Ryan Schweain said he was very pleased with his team's performance.
"We played a sound game against a good team [Hannibal]," he said. "After losing one of our central midfielders to injury at the beginning of the game, the girls did an outstanding job of adjusting to the changes that were made. Our defense played extremely well and our offense showed creativity with on/off the ball movement."
Due to wet field conditions in Moberly, one of the fields was unable to be used. This dropped all teams down to only playing two games which eliminated the tournament format. No tournament champion was declared.
