Leopold's volleyball team edged Bernie in a 25-23, 17-25, 25-21 home victory Monday night.
Amber Nenninger had 12 kills, eight digs and seven blocks to lead the Wildcats (6-4). Rachel Crader had 20 assists and 12 digs, Lori VanderMierden had seven kills, seven digs and six blocks, and Mary Bohnsack added nine digs for Leopold.
The Wildcats were playing without senior hitter Samantha Bueter due to a leg injury.
Notre Dame 25-23-25
Scott City 14-25-4
Notre Dame dominated Scott City in the third set to claim a home win.
The Bulldogs were led defensively by Lauren Mehner, who chipped in nine digs. Laura Browne had 10 kills and 11 blocks, Kelsey Scheeter had six kills and Ashley Dix served 18 points for Notre Dame (14-2-1). Amber Karnes had 11 assists, and Allison Essner added nine assists.
Notre Dame's JV and freshmen teams won.

Central 24-24
Central took Sikeston to the wire in both sets but was swept at home.
Kyla Valleroy had 18 assists and seven digs, Laura Burdick had seven kills, Jessica Johnston had six digs and five kills, and Chelsea Burns added five kills for the Tigers (2-6-2).
Life Christian 25-25, Eagle Ridge 18-17
Eagle Ridge 25-25, Warrenton 18-18
Eagle Ridge split two games at the Christian Life Outreach Center in Fenton, Mo. Chelsey Clark had four assists against Life Christian and seven assists and three kills against Warrenton. Savanna Irazarry had four assists and Kristen Margrabe had four kills against Warrenton.

Central 12, Ste. Genevieve 6
Central erupted for eight runs in the third inning and won at home.
Jami Dement led Central's seven-hit attack with a 3-for-4 performance. Dement and Lindsey Greene had two RBIs apiece. Susie Edwards and Courtney Schuessler added RBIs.
Kelsy Holloway pitched all seven innings for the win. Holloway allowed three earned runs, five hits, struck out three and walked six.

Central's junior varsity football defeated Sikeston on the road 22-18 behind two touchdown passes from Garrett Stevens. Scott Dunaway and Eric Ennis were on the receiving end of the touchdowns, and Stevens also had a short touchdown run for the Tigers (1-0).
