Leet stays hot as Jackson boys top Bluff 69-64

Jake Leet was the hero for the second straight game as the Jackson boys basketball team picked up another victory.

Leet poured in 32 points, including 14 in the fourth quarter, as the Indians slipped past host Poplar Bluff 69-64 Tuesday night.

Jackson improved to 13-5 overall and 4-0 in SEMO Conference play. Poplar Bluff is 5-10 and 1-1.

Leet, a senior guard, hit the game-winning jumper for the Indians during Friday's two-point victory at Notre Dame.

Against Poplar Bluff, Leet drilled a tie-breaking 3-pointer with under 4 minutes remaining. He later made 3 of 4 free throws in the final 35 seconds to seal the victory.

Hunter Grantham added 12 points for the Indians, while Spencer Goodman scored 10.
