Harriett Myers and Diane Fowler were part of another winning combination Tuesday at Dalhousie Golf Club.
Myers and Fowler teamed with Susie Rupert and Barb Dalton to capture top honors in the championship flight of the Dalhousie Golf Club Ladies Scramble. The foursome fired a 65 and had to survive a playoff against the team of Carol Largent, Jo Billings, Jane Kirt and Colleen Pearson.
Myers and Fowler had won the 26th annual Lassie Classic, a two-player women's scramble that took place earlier this month at Cape Girardeau Country Club. They won that tournament a record six times in eight years.
Ninteen teams participated in the second annual four-woman scramble.
Ann Dombrowski, Alice Temm, Barb Stribling and E.R. Fischer captured the "A" flight with a 70.
Three teams tied for first in the "B" flight with 76s.
