SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Lady Tigers, playing in the Kickapoo Invitational, fell just short against a team which made it to the Class 4A Final Four last year.

Central trailed 2-1 at halftime, but tied it in the second half.

"We had one breakdown with eight minutes left," Central coach Tom Doyle said. "What frustrates me is I thought we were a better team than they were, we just couldn't put it in the net."

One of Oak Park's goals came on a penalty kick.
