PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- The Jackson Lady Indians improved to 11-2 on the season with a 55-38 victory over Perryville Monday night.

Andrea Koeper, who had 13 points, led 10 Lady Indians in the scoring column. Jenna Leet hit two 3-pointers in adding 12 points.

Jamie Amberger paced Perryville (9-8) with 11 points.

"I thought we played a couple strong quarters, but they have so many girls that can come off the bench and contribute," said Perryville coach Vicki Lohmann.

Jackson built a 16-6 lead in the first quarter and took a 23-16 lead into halftime. The Lady Indians carried a 34-24 advantage into the final period before pulling away.

Scott City 41

Charleston 37

SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Freshman Lauren Groves helped the Lady Rams overcome a three-point halftime deficit by scoring 19 of her 25 points in the second half.

Charleston held a 17-14 lead at halftime, but Groves netted 14 of Scott City's 17 points in the third quarter as the Lady Rams moved ahead 31-27. Ashley Lynn scored four of her 10 points in the fourth quarter as Scott City (10-6) held off Charleston.

Monisha Murray scored 12 points for Charleston.

St. Vincent 45

Ste. Genevieve 25

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Danielle Sutterer scored a game-high 24 points as St. Vincent broke open a close game in the second half.

St. Vincent (5-8) only led 22-18 at halftime, but outscored Ste. Genevieve 23-7 over the final two quarters. Sutterer scored 10 of her points in the final period.

Malden 60, Chaffee 44

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- After playing Chaffee to a 10-10 stalemate in the first period, Malden outscored the Lady Red Devils 19-9 in the second quarter as it took control of the game.

Malden upped its lead to 43-26 by the end of the third quarter.

Jennifer Vandeven scored 14 points for Chaffee (5-10), while Morgan Kiefer added 13.

Chaffee won the JV contest 35-28.

Oran 42, Hayti 27

HAYTI, Mo. -- Maria Eftink led three Lady Eagles in double figures as Oran evened its record at 6-6.

Ashley Dirnberger added 12 points and Stacey Eftink netted 10.

Oran outscored Hayti 10-6 in each of the first two quarters for a 20-12 halftime lead. The Lady Eagles took a comfortable 36-17 lead into the fourth quarter.

Kelly 58, Woodland 8

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Kelly outscored Woodland 23-0 in the first quarter on its way to improving to 15-1 on the season.

Bridgett Riley and Marissa Essner each scored 15 points for Woodland, which led 43-2 at halftime.

Cape Central 107

Notre Dame 78

Cape Central improved to 4-6 on the season with its second victory over first-year program Notre Dame.

"You can tell they've been working hard," said Cape Central coach Dayna Powell, noting improvement in Notre Dame's team.

Notre Dame won three of the 12 events, including a narrow victory in the first event of the meet -- the medley relay. The Bulldogs posted a winning time of 2:00.91, winning by three-hundreths of a second.

"It set the tone for the rest of the meet," said Notre Dame coach Lenny Kuper. "It was a real exciting meet. Our guys continued to have their best times and I'm really proud of them."

Jon Lowrance won two individual events for Central, finishing first in the 50-meter freestyle and 100 breaststroke.

Central returns to action today in a dual at DeSmet. Notre Dame will visit Chaminade on Saturday.

Central freshmen sweep

Mitch Craft scored 31 points as Cape Central's freshman A' squad improved to 14-0 with a 79-60 victory over New Madrid.

Central's B' team improved to 6-0 with a 51-47 win over New Madrid. Alex Schroeder scored 11 points for Central.
