Notre Dame, in its first season of swimming, made the state cut in the 200 medley relay with a time of 2:26.56 as the Lady Bulldogs rolled past Principia 128-52 in a home swimming meet Friday.

Ashtia Jewell, Ali Tyson, Janelle Essner and Lindsay Kuper swam the event, which marked the sixth race in which Notre Dame has posted a state-qualifying time.

Notre Dame, 2-1 in dual meets, has made at least one state cut in each of its meets this season.
