To say Central sophomore Brad LaBruyere has been unhittable for the Tigers' baseball team this year would not be far from the truth.
On Monday, for the second time this season, LaBruyere threw a no-hitter in a 5-0 home victory over Farmington. LaBruyere previously no-hit Notre Dame in a home game on April 5.
LaBruyere struck out 11 and walked two to improve to 6-1.
"It's been the case for him, every time he's pitched well, he's gotten ahead in the count," Central coach Steve Williams said.
Ty Craft led a 13-hit attack for the Tigers (9-9) with three hits. Matt Hester, Scott Brueckner, Brandon Cooper and Blake Slattery had two hits apiece. Cooper added three RBIs.
Central's JV team lost 10-4.

Jackson's Jason Meystedt earned his fourth win on the mound and went 2-for-2 with a home run and a double to lead Jackson to a six-inning road win.
Tyler Beussink, Meystedt and Joel Penrod each pitched two innings, allowing a total of three hits and two earned runs.
Derrick Biri, Chad Minson, Brandon Gendron and Luke Crader each added two hits for the Indians (12-1).
Kelly's Kent Deason suffered the loss for the Hawks (4-5), allowing nine hits and seven earned runs in 2 1/3 innings.

Blake Essner suffered the loss on the mound for Notre Dame (7-6, 4-3 SEMO). Starting pitcher Anthony Wulfers allowed two hits and one earned run in three innings before being relieved in the fourth inning by Essner, who surrendered three hits and three earned runs in three innings.
Dane Balsmann went 2-for-4 with a home run, and Shane Menz, Derek Ressel and Jacob Wengert added two hits apiece for the Bulldogs.

Central's Blake Driskell shot a 1-over-par 72 to lead Central to a first-place finish out of 13 teams at the Sikeston Country Club.
Driskell tied for the top score but finished third in the playoff. Kirk Lohman and Zach Kluesner each shot a 73 for the Tigers and Jack Connell shot a 79 to round out Central's top four.
Jackson finished fourth, Notre Dame finished fifth and St. Vincent placed eighth.
Jackson's Josh Wheeler tied for fifth place with a 74, while the Indians' Gabe Sauer and Notre Dame's Jon Blattel tied for ninth with 75s.
Zach Richardet led St. Vincent with an 84.
