The Kelso Fastpitch softball team from Kelso, Mo., had an impressive showing in a world-level tournament.

Kelso finished fourth in the 36-team North American Fastpitch Association 'A' Major World Series that concluded over the weekend in Rockford, Ill.

Kelso went 4-2 for its best finish at the tournament that featured teams from the United States and Canada.

Four Kelso players were named to the all-tournament team, including pitcher Tom Jansen. He went 4-2 with a 1.99 ERA.

Other all-tournament selections were Eric Beardslee, who batted .400, Tyler Beardslee (.357) and Clayton Eftink (.320).
