The Kelly softball team outlasted host Sikeston on Wednesday afternoon, pushing across three runs in the top of the 11th inning for a 6-3 victory.
Freshman Casey Kern pitched all 11 innings, allowing five hits. She struck out 10 and walked four.
The Hawks (6-2) had 13 hits, led by Meghan Tetley with four. Ashley Vetter added three hits and Brittany Brantley had two.
Brantley's two-run single in the 11th snapped a 3-3 tie.
Sikeston forced extra innings by scoring a run in the bottom of the seventh, after Kelly had pushed across a run in the top of the frame.

Central gave Poplar Bluff all it could handle before the visiting Mules squeezed out a 10-inning victory.
Poplar Bluff improved to 9-1 while the Tigers fell to 2-11.
"We played well," Central coach Amy Blattel said. "We hit the ball well."
Both squads had 13 hits.
Amanda Nichols, Jami Dement and Jamie Lester led the Tigers with three hits apiece. Central had no extra-base hits.
Nichols, a freshman, took the loss in relief despite allowing just three runs over the final seven innings.

Jackson built a 6-0 lead after three innings and held on to win at home.
Darla Mangels gave up just two earned runs in going the distance. She allowed eight hits, with six strikeouts.
The Indians (3-6) had seven hits, led by Jessica Pitts with two.

Notre Dame handed host Scott City its first loss of the season.
Kaitlyn Scheeter led the Bulldogs (3-3-2) with eight kills, and she added five digs. Meridith Medlin had five kills and 12 assists, Amanda Toole added six kills, and Destiny Dirnberger served four aces.
The Rams (3-1) got eight kills from Kacie Ritter, 11 assists from Lindsey Amick and 27 digs from Brittany Licare.
JV -- Scott City won 25-17, 25-17.
Liz Martin and Jocelyn Moll both had five kills as Perryville won on the road.
Also for the Pirates (3-2-2), Lindsay Lappe distributed 10 assists, Meghan Roth had seven kills, and Martin and Jen Ponder both added three blocks.
JV -- Ste. Genevieve won, 25-21, 25-19.
Saxony Lutheran suffered a road loss.
Meredith Hoffman had three kills and nine digs for Saxony (0-2), while Tiffany Haertling added eight digs and four assists.
JV -- St. Vincent won 25-10, 25-10.
