The Kelly boys and the Scott City girls were led by some dominating performances to win team titles Wednesday in the Kelly Open.

Tyson Glaser and Michael Glastetter each won three individual events for Kelly in the boys competition. The Hawks, who also won all three relay events, rolled to the team championship with 156 1/2 points. Runner-up Chaffee scored 58 1/2 and Saxony was third in the five-team meet with 49 points.

Glaser ruled the field -- winning the triple jump, pole vault and long jump -- while Glastetter swept the three distance track events -- the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 meters.

Saxony Lutheran, in its first year of varsity sports, had its first track double-winner with Alex Jauch capturing the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles.

For the girls, Scott City's Loren Groves was a three-event winner, claiming the 100-meter hurdles and the 200. Teammate Christy Laxton was first in the 800- and 1,600-meter runs. Scott City also won the 1,600 and 3,200 relays.

The Rams scored 104 points to nip Kelly (99), which won the 400 and 800 relays.

Amy Holmes won the shot put and high jump for Chaffee, while Oran's Jan Eftink won the long jump and triple jump.
