JEFFERSON CITY -- Kelly's Nathen King and Amy Arteme, along with two Scott City relay teams, managed to place Saturday as the Missouri Class 2A Track & Field Championships came to a close.
King was fifth in the boys 800-meters (2:02.83) while Arteme was seventh in the girls 3,200-meters (12:31.45).
Kelly's boys, who had placed in two events Friday, finished with 11 points, tying them for 16th place.
Kelly's girls, after placing in one event Friday, finished with six points.
For Scott City's boys, the 4x200 team of Lance Amick, Brandon Amick, Travis Burger and Matt Underwood was seventh (1:35.6) while the 4x100 squad of B. Amick, L. Amick, Steven Thomas and Underwood was eighth (46.4).
