Southeast Missouri State women's basketball coach Ty Margenthaler had the same coaching staff during his first two years at the helm of the Redhawks.
That will change during Margenthaler's third season in 2013-14.
Dionnah Jackson, who has been a Southeast assistant the past three years, is leaving to become an assistant at George Mason.
Jackson joins coach Nyla Milleson's first staff at George Mason, where she was hired last month following a six-year stint at Missouri State.
"Dionnah did a great job for us," Margenthaler said. "Selfishly, I hate losing her, but for her it's a good, positive mood and we wish her well."
Jackson was on Southeast's staff the year before Margenthaler took over the program. He kept the former University of Oklahoma standout and first-round WNBA draft choice on board after he was hired.
"When I took the job over, I had the option of bringing in an entirely new staff," Margenthaler said. "When I met with Dionnah I knew she had to stay on board with us."
Southeast's other two current assistants, Ben Coomes and Heather Ezell, both joined Margenthaler after his hiring.
Margenthaler said he is in the process of identifying potential candidates to replace Jackson.
